I was recreating a game in Minecraft and I need to have infinite blocks, but there is a visual error where the blocks do not appear in the inventory, even though they are there. Please fix this.

Steps to Reproduce:
Add a repeat command to make the item infinite when placing the block on the ground.
When you have the infinite item and place the block on the ground, it consumes it instead of giving you the item, and there is a visual error where it does not show how many items there are, and your hand is left without the block even though you are holding one.
And that's it.
Observed Results:
There is a visual error in the block; it does not appear even with blocks in the inventory.
Expected Results:
I hope it gets fixed as soon as possible, I'm making a map.
Repeater: /execute positioned "coordinates of a random block" if block ~ ~ ~ minecraft:blue_terracotta run give @p minecraft:blue_terracotta 1
with the arrow pointing to this
Repeater: /fill "block coordinates" minecraft:air
And you have to have a pack or some terracotta blocks or another inventory block and use survival with the commands always active.
