I currently have no internet connection, so I resort to Play Offline. When I try to repair/enchant with said anvil, I am unable to remove the resulting item from the anvil.

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report (
[minecraft|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder]/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt) here. I don't see how not having an internet connection would make any difference.
