Clicking on server twice brings you back to main menu

Soo what happens is if you click twice in a server it brings you back to the main menu.

How to recreate:

1.Go to main menu and click on multiplayer.
2. Click on any server twice as if you were trying to join it but do the clicking a bit slower.
3(result) And now you are back to the main menu
This happens on almost every version ive seen
