I downloaded a fresh version of minecraft and I can not here the footsteps sound, or any of the music disc, I believe other will be missing to.

This is technically not a bug, but a support issue and can likely be dealt with here. This is likely an issue with your antivirus.

Or wait a little bit. The soundfiles are downloaded in the background.
