Debian/Ubuntu Package Misspells Package Name for Dependency

The Debian installer package (.deb) for Minecraft Java edition depends on:

libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 (>= 2.22.0)

However, the package name in Debian 13 is:

libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-0

And the currently available version in Debian 13 is 2.42.12, which is greater than the minimum required version in the “depends” variable inside the deb file’s control file. I’ve also verified that the package name in Ubuntu 25.10 and Ubuntu 24.04.03 also contains the hyphen, so it’s probably safe to bet that the package name is the same for all derivative/downstream Debian based distributions and that the package name in your Debian package is just a type-o.

Environment

All Debian based Linux distributions.
