All waterlogged blocks like stairs, slabs or scaffolding now breaks if a bubble column is underneath it, if tried to be placed on top they break immediately. The block gets destroyed without dropping, with the exception that I found being the scaffolding.
The issue is probably related to the fluid tags modification reported in the Minecraft 26.1 Snapshot 3 article page: “Added #bubble_columns_can_occupy fluid tag to define which fluids a bubble column can occupy with water as default“.
Screenshots show the differences between Snapshot 2 (bug not present), Snapshot 3 (initial bug existance), Snapshot 5 (latest snapshot with the bug still present).
How to reproduce:
Make a water pool at least 2 blocks tall.
Replace the bottom with soulsand.
Try placing any waterloggable block on the top end of the water pool.
Results: Block gets destroyed without dropping (except the scaffolding drops).
Expected results: Waterlogged block allows bubble columns to pass through without breaking like the previous versions, unless intended this way, then they should at least drop the item back.
