Mobs and player hand renders really bright, in dark areas

I was swimming in a cold ocean and noticed that the Nautilus' are really brightly rendered, but everything else around them are dark. I then noticed that their rendering keeps changing. Then they are bright, then they render “normal” dark, then bright again etc. The same happens with the player hand. I then went into a cave with no torches. Yet the skeleton was rendered extremely bright too.

Seems like a lighting engine bug in Snapshot 6. I haven’t seen this issue in 1.21.11.

Environment

Using a Linux PC running 26.1 Snapshot 6 using a Radeon 7900 XTX graphics card.
