/stop command doesn't disconnect the player properly

When a dedicated server is stopped via the /stop command, players sometimes see a generic network message("Disconnected") instead of the intended disconnect message ("Server closed"), which prevents some Minecraft proxy software from identifying backend server status properly.

Reproduce steps:

  1. Start a Minecraft 1.21.11 server

  2. Join the server

  3. Execute /stop command

  4. See message “Disconnected” instead of “Server closed”, if not, repeat step 1~3 should help.

Environment

Client: Vanilla 1.21.11 & Fabric 1.21.11, Server: Vanilla 1.21.11
