When the "Japanese Glyph Variant" option is enabled, Minecraft uses the Unifont JP font for Japanese-standard Kanji glyphs, while the regular Unifont is used for simplified Chinese-standard glyphs.
However, currently only Kanji characters are displayed in Unifont JP, while Kana characters (hiragana/katakana) still render in the regular Unifont style.
This causes inconsistent typography because Unifont JP and regular Unifont have visibly different designs for Kana (e.g., stroke thickness, shape details).
Environment
When "Japanese Glyph Variant" is ON, both Kanji and Kana should consistently use the Unifont JP font design.
