[MC-306394] Sometimes the new baby chicken does not face toward the player when they are holding seeds

i was testing out the new minecraft version, 26.1-snapshot-7, and i spawned some baby chickens. when i held seeds, the chicks moved toward me, but were not facing toward me like they should have. is this natural? this seems to be exclusive to the baby chickens, as i tested it on baby pigs, and they behaved normally.

it does appear to be rather inconsistent. sometimes they face towards me, other times they don’t.

Things such as graphics, sounds, world creation, biomes, redstone, villagers, and animals may not work the same in current versions.
