whenever i start the launcher, it instantly gives me this error message, even after updating, checking that my PC is connected to the internet, and that my internet is functional and has been reset. i also did /flushdns in the cmd console and it didn’t help.
“Error Code: 0x89245111 code: Swamp. The token request failed. Please ensure you're connected to the Internet, and try again.”
i’m so confused. I can’t find any information on what “code swamp” even is. it doesn’t come up anywhere. what do i even do about this??
unrelated, this also shows up on modrinth’s launcher which is what i use to play modded. i know it isnt Mojang’s jurisdiction but i felt it was important to mention it wasn’t working on there either.
“Cannot reach authentication servers. Minecraft authentication servers may be down right now. Check your internet connection and try again later.”
I have a modern computer, which is connected to decent internet. it's not like a windows 7 PC that isnt connected is what i'm saying. everything else works but NOT the launcher. i’m on Java. i don’t have realms or any other DLC or anything. the same minecraft account i’ve had for years
