Small armor stands use the wrong texture for armor

  • Summon an armor stand with {Small: 1}

  • Place any piece of armor on it, say copper chestplate

  • Examine the chestplate – it is a small version of the adult armor, not of the humanoid_baby armor. You can confirm this by tweaking the texture of the baby armor visibly.

I expect a small stand to have baby armor. It uses the exaggerated head size difference used for babies.

The attachment shows this with a modified texture. From L-R: Small armor stand, armor stand, baby zombie. The baby zombie shows the modified baby armor, the small stand clearly does not use that, using instead the same texture used by the non-small stand.

The behavior you have reported is working as intended: Please refer to the 26.1 Snapshot 10 changelog, which is quoted below.

Small Armor Stand now displays correctly by using the adult armor and scaling it down

Please note that mechanics of the game may change between updates.
Things such as graphics, sounds, world creation, biomes, redstone, villagers, and animals may not work the same in current versions.
