[MC-307041] Java edition launcher crash

My launcher keeps crashing everytime I click play and it’s been like this for over a day. Restarted the PC numerous times no result.

Have you checked your launcher settings?
Are there any error messages or logs that appear when the issue occurs? If so, could you provide those?
Can you record a video of the issue and upload it?

Are you using any add-ons or resource packs?
Have you tried reinstalling the launcher and the Minecraft game?

I have the normal built in resource packs in use, the same ones for the past couple of years with no problems. Not sure how I can uninstall it on this Mac mini yet could you point me in the right direction on how to reinstall
