The top and bottom of the dripleaf block do not connect properly because the top dripleaf uv is 8 wide while the model for it is 7. the stem also just doesn't use the bottom 2 pixels on the stem top texture.
I included screenshots of the dripleaf models in blockbench to better show how he uv is off compared to the top and bottom models
