Left click causes stutter/lag on M1 Mac in 26.1, not present in previous version

Left click causes a noticeable stutter/lag spike on M1 Mac. This did not occur before updating to 26.1.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Launch Minecraft Java Edition 26.1 on an M1 Mac

2. Load any world

3. Hold or repeatedly press left click (to break blocks or attack)

Expected result:
Game runs smoothly with no stutter when left clicking, as it did in the previous version.

Actual result:
A stutter/lag spike occurs every time left click is held or pressed. This happens with both an external mouse and the built-in trackpad, ruling out a hardware issue. FPS does not drop and RAM usage is normal. Sodium and other performance mods do not fix it. Downgrading to the previous version resolves the issue immediately.
