Vindicators cannot hit sulfur cubes

Johnny vindicators cannot hit sulfur cubes, they swing, but the hit doesn’t happen, they just push the cube around. In the video, vindicator has strengh effect set at 255 (demonstrated by them one shotting iron golem), but the cube barely moves. If player hits the cube with strengh 255, it bounces around the box at insane speeds.
