Sulfur Cube Lighting Problem

After yesterday's release of the first java snapshot for the chaos cubed update, I wanted to experiment with the brand new mob. This led to me eventually trying to put light emitting blocks inside the sulfur cube. I then realised that the sulfur cube cancels all lighting from the blocks it's eaten. I assume this is a bug, as the sulfur cube is visibly transparent and therefore it'd make sense for light from light emitting to be able to go through. I'd appreciate it if this were to be fixed before the update's release, as I really want to use the sulfur cube for a minigame involving it being used a torch. Thanks for your time πŸ™‚

I added an image of the cube not emitting light. I was on a superflat, maybe that's important to know.

oops, my bad. Didn’t realise someone else already reported this.

One thing though, because I don’t think you really understood the report I made.

What I meant was that the sulfur cube (at least in my opinion) should not only light itself up, but also the blocks around it. This means that if I put a magma block or something inside the sulfur cube, it should light up the same amount of blocks around it as a placed magma block would. Now I can finally make a moveable lantern :)

In case this is added, there is one more thing I wanna ask: Please don’t ACTUALLY make it emit the exact same light level, as the cube would realistically block some. Make it emit like 50% of the light that it normally would.

Thanks for your time.
