When you rotate the mouse wheel downwards, the hotbar moves to the right, but when you rotate the mouse wheel while holding down Shift, the hotbar moves to the left. This only happens on Macs.

On a Mac, holding down the Shift key while scrolling the mouse wheel moves the hotbar in the opposite direction to normal.
