Minecraft Freezes in Full Screen Window with Vulcan API

I have installed Minecraft on a new PC setup (environment details provided) When I run the Java version 26.2 Snapshot 4, the game will run in a small window but freezes as soon as I enlarge the window to full-screen. This has happened with graphics API default, or Vulcan but not in OpenGL. Note that as per the Environment details, the graphics card is Gigabyte RX 9060.
When the game freezes, it is impossible to close, even with Task Manager.
I have run the latest Bedrock edition preview version successfully with no issues, so the graphics card appears to be otherwise working correctly, so far.

Environment

Graphics card: Gigabyte AMD RX Radeon 9060 XT, Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-Core Processor, (4.70 GHz) Installed RAM: 32.0 GB (31.1 GB usable), System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

I also checked the GPU temperature, found that GPU 0 is at 32 and GPU 1 is at 45 degrees. Both cores are showing signs of some activity. GPU 0 is having pulses of activity about every 5 to 6 seconds while GPU 1 is constant at about 3%. When doing this, I had the window extended but not fully filling the screen. In this configuration, on the title screen, the music cuts out intermittently.
