The game window becomes unresponsive after minimizing on some Intel graphics

When the game is in windowed mode, minimizing the game window functions as expected. But when you try to click on the game icon inside the taskbar nothing appears to happen and the game window stays hidden. Right clicking the game icon and selecting “Close window“ in the context menu does not function. The only workaround is to force quit the game with task manager.

Environment

Windows 11, Intel(R) Celeron(R) N4020 CPU

More info: Intel(R) UHD Graphics 600 (Integrated), x64-bit operating system, 4GB of RAM, Windows 11 Home 25H2, Laptop

No further logs appear beyond the point of the recording

The only log that appears after force closing is the default exit code, no errors

I think this bug is fixed in 26.2-pre1, even through the update log didn’t show this

It is not, this bug only effects the Vulkan backend. 26.2-snapshot-8 switched to OpenGL by default, hiding the issue.

This bug does occur in 26.2-snap-8 even when using OpenGL, and does not occur in 26.2-pre-2 even when using Vulkan.
