Entities pushed upward by geysers take fall damage proportional to the time they have been hovering for when landing

In 26.2 snapshot 7, the Sulfur Spring Geyser (constructed with Lava → Potent Sulfur Block → Water ) has a bug where entities (all mobs except players) are continuously pushed upward without interruption instead of periodic eruptions.

After being pushed into the air continuously for some time, when the entity lands on a solid block (not water), it instantly takes fatal fall damage, even from a relatively short height. This does not happen with short, normal eruptions—only after sustained, non-stop pushing.
