Feeding small sulfur cubes slimeballs does not give them persistence, and causes them to despawn when leaving their vicinity.
To Reproduce:
Spawn in a small sulfur cube, or kill a large sulfur cube.
Feed the small sulfur cubes slimeballs.
Leave the nearby area, and wait for them to despawn.
Expected: small sulfur cubes still exist.
Actual: small sulfur cubes despawn.

Even if this is intended, this in unintuitive, since trying to obtain more sulfur cubes can easily lead to losing all of them if you leave the simulated area.
