While creating a world without Optifine, mods, or resource packs (everything running on default graphics settings), the water does not render correctly. On the ocean surface, water appears invisible — you can see all blocks underneath (coral, gravel, etc.), but seagrass and kelp are invisible. The ocean surface itself does not show the usual blue water texture. This happens both during day and night.
Additionally, lava always appears with a solid black texture, both when flowing and stationary, and still causes damage as normal.
This issue occurs across different biomes, caves, and chunk generation. It is reproducible consistently with Intel HD Graphics.
Rolling back to Snapshot 26.1 fixes the problem — water and lava render normally there. Snapshot 26.2 and 26.3 both show the same bug.
Steps to Reproduce:
Create a new world in Snapshot 26.2 or 26.3.
Use default settings (no mods, no resource packs, default engine).
Explore ocean biomes and caves.
Observe water surface and lava textures.
Expected Result: Water should render with its normal blue texture, and seagrass/kelp should be visible. Lava should render with its normal orange texture.
Actual Result:
Water surface is invisible.
Seagrass and kelp are invisible.
Lava appears as a solid black texture.
