Shelf mushrooms bounce entities outside their bounding box

  • Short description of the issue

The entity bounces off the shelf mushroom (small or large) even though it doesn’t come to contact with it. Contrary to slime blocks, the mushroom has an air gap between the carpet, which should prevent bouncing.

  • Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Get a shelf mushrom.

  2. Place it and put a carpet or trapdoor on top of it.

  3. Fall into the carpet or trapdoor.

  • Expected result

No bounce, at least in the edge of the carpet or trapdoor

  • Actual result

A bounce
