When wind charging up you wont taje fall damage no matter how high you go and it also happends when you get lunched up using the wind burst enchantment but i have a theory i didbt chek but looking back at when it happened i think its right when i took the mace from my hotbar to my inventory i did take fall damage.
Environment
Computer, i had no effects mods or game changers of any kind applied.
