Worlds render entirely magenta on macOS with the Vulkan rendering backend

When I select the experimental Vulkan renderer and load a world, the entire 3D scene renders as solid magenta/pink.

The HUD, menus and debug screen render normally, but all world geometry is replaced by a pink screen.

This happens in every world I open, including newly created worlds.

Restarting the game does not resolve the issue.

Switching back to the default graphics API immediately fixes the problem, and the world renders normally.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Launch Minecraft 26.3 Snapshot 2.

  2. Go to Video Settings.

  3. Select "Use Vulkan (Experimental)".

  4. Restart the game if prompted.

  5. Load or create any world.

Expected result:
The world renders normally.

Actual result:
The entire world is rendered as solid magenta/pink.

System:

  • macOS Tahoe 26.0 Beta (25A5306g)

  • Apple M18 Pro

  • Java 25.0.1

  • Vulkan via MoltenVK 1.2.334

  • Vanilla installation (no mods)

Additional information:

  • Happens in every world.

  • Still occurs after restarting the game.

  • Does not happen when using the default graphics API.

Environment

macOS Tahoe 26.0 Beta (25A5306g), Apple M18 Pro, Java 25.0.1, MoltenVK 1.2.334. Vanilla (no mods). Issue occurs in every world after restarting. Default graphics API works correctly.

MacOS can confirm(see MC-309438),but my computer is lenovo, can’t confirm

I can confirm this issue on macOS. I’m using a MacBook Pro with an Apple M18 Pro running macOS Tahoe 26.0 Beta. The bug happens in every world when using the experimental Vulkan renderer. Restarting the game doesn’t fix it, and switching back to the default graphics API resolves the issue.
