Summary
Player experiences severe stuttering and rubber-banding when walking on a boat after dismounting onto water from floating ice.
Description
This issue is related to the previously reported bug MC-156980 with the same symptoms: when a player rows a boat from floating ice onto water and dismounts by pressing the sneak key (Shift), the player character experiences significant stuttering and rubber‑banding while attempting to walk on the boat. This problem only occurs after dismounting from the specific ice‑to‑water transition; normal dismounts on land or on water without the ice transition do not cause it. Rendering engine: OpenGL.
Steps to Reproduce
Place a block of Floating Ice adjacent to a body of water.
Place a boat on the floating ice.
Enter the boat and row it from the ice onto the water surface (boat floating).
Press the sneak key (Shift) to dismount from the boat.
After dismounting, immediately attempt to walk on the boat.
Expected Behavior
The player should be able to walk on the boat smoothly without any movement interruptions.
Actual Behavior
The player's movement stutters and rubber‑bands significantly, making control difficult.
Environment
OpenGL 3.3.0
