The block breaking progress overlay shows incorrect information

Affected Versions: All versions of Minecraft

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a new world with the world type set to Debug Mode.

2. Switch the game mode to Survival.

3. Break any block, then break it again.

4. At any point during the breaking progress, move the crosshair away from the block.

Expected Result:
The breaking overlay (crack texture) on the block should disappear once the player is no longer targeting it.

Actual Result:
The breaking overlay (crack texture) remains visible on the block even after the crosshair has been moved away.
