FPS drop caused by enchanted items being equipped or looked at in a GUI

Short description: There is a visible drop in FPS when holding, having enchanted items equipped, or looking at a GUI, such as a chest, with enchanted items stored. Seems to be around a 40% drop.

Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Launch Minecraft Java Edition on version 26.2.
2. Place a chest and populate it with a set of unenchanted netherite armor/tools, shield, mace, and trident.
3. Open the chest and observe baseline FPS on the F3 screen .
4. Replace all items in the chest with identical gear containing Unbreaking III, or any other enchantment.
5. Open the chest again and observe the FPS drop.
6. Perform the same comparison, but with the items equipped/in the hotbar

Expected result: The enchanted items should be displayed and used with no drop in FPS

Actual result: Displaying or using the enchanted items results in a massive drop in FPS

Notes:
A. Unlike other bug reports, this is completely unaffected by glint. As you can see, both glint speed and strength are set to “Off” in settings. Despite this, you can see a clear FPS drop.
B. Screenshots 1 (386 FPS) & 3 (318 FPS) have the enchanted items, screenshots 2 (556 FPS) & 4 (575 FPS) have the unenchanted items. I formatted it this way so you can see it is not armor as a whole, and can easily compare enchanted vs unenchanted in each situation.

Edit: Tested on Intel i5-12600kf and 3060, same issue occurred.
