Switching away from a spear allows the player to break blocks through entities for a short moment

The spear bug happens when you are in an entity/entity in your head or armor stand thats in the same block as you and you cant click, break blocks, same with chest minecarts, but if you start swapping with a spear and your hand while holding down left click, you could start breaking the block slowly yet surely until the block in front of you is broken but the real issue? you were never supposed to break that block, even be able to start breaking it in the first place and I think this is caused due to the spears having a bigger hitbox, devs please fix this im trying to protect certain areas from greifing and players are just abusing this bug to get around it and ruin my builds
