Sun texture fails to clip or soften with horizon fog in 26.3 snapshots

In current 26.3 snapshots, the visual behavior where atmospheric fog layers overlay and soften/blur the bottom edges of the square sun texture no longer occurs. The sun remains a completely rigid, unblended square right up until it passes below the horizon.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Load into a world (e.g., a Plains biome) on snapshot 26.3.

  2. Set the time to dusk using /time set 12500.

  3. Observe the sun as it intersects the horizon line.

Observed Result: The sun's square geometry stays entirely sharp and crisp with no atmospheric edge-clipping or softening.

Expected Result: The horizon fog layer should interact with the skybox depth/transparency to visually clip or blur the lower corners of the sun sprite as it sets.

Hi Vikonchiik! I've uploaded a video showing the current behavior in 26.3 Snapshot 10, where the sun remains entirely rigid and unblended against the horizon. I've been searching for hours for the exact version, but unfortunately, I haven't been able to isolate the specific older build to record a direct side-by-side comparison video. However, I've attached the video of the current behavior for your review! let me know if you need anything else.
