While a lightning rod is being moved by a piston, being struck by lightning will not cause it to become powered, and if it's already powered it will not depower until it stops moving.
Steps to reproduce:
Create a setup like this video (https://youtu.be/ckx_9xB7W3Y ), where if struck by lightning, the lightning rod will activate a sticky piston and be pushed out of range of the redstone.
Stand on top of the lightning rod and run the command
/summon minecraft:lightning_boltWatch it be pushed back and forth, always producing power and never returning to its regular color.
This affects both release 26.2 and snapshot 26.3 Snapshot 10.
Just realized I accidentally posted this twice (MC-311572). The first time I tried posting it, it told me that it failed and to try again, so I changed the attached video to a link instead and resubmitted.
