Resource Packs Unable to see

Iv watched many tutorials on how to out resource packs in the folder and iv done that perfectly and in game when i hit resource packs the only one i see is the (Default Look of Minecraft) then i hit view the resource packs folder and i see my packs but not in game. 😞 please help its been happening since the new launcher
