Setting the "Exclusive Fullscreen Mode" option to "Current" keeps the previously selected resolution

Setting the Exclusive Fullscreen Mode to “Current” used to set the game resolution to your current screen resolution. However as of 26.3 Pre-Release 1, changing the Exclusive Fullscreen Mode to Current just keeps any lower resolution you have selected beforehand in-game. Note however, setting the mode to Current and turning Exclusive Fullscreen off and on again does update the resolution. So yes, I have tried turning it off and on again, but this still seems like unintended behavior.

Steps to reproduce:

(Optional) Enable the “system_specs“ debug option for easier observation.

1. Enable Exclusive Fullscreen in Video Settings and go into Fullscreen.

2. Set the Exclusive Fullscreen Mode to a lower resolution than the current one.

3. Press the Done button or the Escape key to make the new Exclusive Fullscreen Mode take effect.

4. Go back to Video Settings.

5. Set the Exclusive Fullscreen Mode to “Current”.

6. Once again exit the menu in some way to make the new setting take effect.

7. Observe whether the resolution updates.

Expected result:

Changing the Exclusive Fullscreen Mode to Current would update the resolution to match the max screen resolution.

Actual result:

Changing the Exclusive Fullscreen Mode to Current does not update the resolution.

Additional notes:

The game outputs an “Exclusive target” line to the log every time the Exclusive Fullscreen resolution is changed. An example string is:
Exclusive target 1280x720@60 (24bit) on monitor Generic PnP Monitor[0x00000001](1920x1080@60 (24bit) at (0,0)).

The latter resolution seems to always stay constant in 26.3 Snapshot 10, however in this Pre-Release it changes to the previous resolution you set the Exclusive Fullscreen Mode to. This implies the game is setting your resolution to the current one, but since the current one is now the one you selected before, it has no actual effect.
