[MC-311684] IME popup appears after closing chat with CJK active

The bug

The IME candidate popup continues to appear even after closing the chat. This issue does not occur with Microsoft IME, but it may occur with other IME software. (I am using Google Japanese Input.)

To reproduce

Type Japanese into the chat.
Send the chat message.
Press the W key to move forward.
The IME candidate popup appears on screen.

Please check the attached images.

This bug could be reproduced starting from 26.3 snapshot 9. I believe some changes were made in snapshot 9 that caused this.

I believe this is a critical bug that needs to be fixed before the major release.
