Piglins with already loaded crossbows keep holding them as if they're about to shoot

So I’ve been with piglins and forgot to wear gold armor.I have thorns on my armor and didn’t want to kill the piglin so I suicided myself.When I came back the piglin was still holding the crossbow up so I gave it some gold.After bartering it raised its crossbow at me but did not shoot.Then I realized that it was just neutral(I brought gold armor this time).But it seems unable to lower its crossbow since it was already charged so it just looked at me,while still aiming at me.Can you fix it
