Carpet can be pushed up, but not pulled down

When I placed a carpet block on a sticky piston and extended it, i expected the carpet not to break when it pulled it down.

It broke anyway.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place a carpet block on a top-facing sticky piston.
2. Extend the sticky piston.
3. Retract the sticky piston.
