MC-311889

WorldBorder texture rapidly scrolls vertically during Y-axis camera movement while resizing

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Stand where the WorldBorder is visible and run a /worldborder set command with a slow duration (e.g., /worldborder set 64 15s or /worldborder set 67 15s).

  2. While the border is expanding or contracting (tinted red/green), move the camera along the Y-axis (e.g., via Spectator vertical movement, jumping, falling, or changing entity scale attributes).

  3. Observe the WorldBorder texture (shader UV alignment).

Expected result
The WorldBorder texture remains stable relative to vertical camera movement while resizing.

Actual result
The WorldBorder texture rapidly scrolls along the Y-axis in response to camera movement while resizing.

Notes / Suspected Cause:
Likely a regression related to MC-206805, where dynamic border size changes were not accounted for in the visual offset calculations.Confirmed that this worked correctly in version 1.16.4 prior to the MC-206805 fix (see attached video).

The texture moves in the opposite direction of vertical camera movement at roughly double speed.Occurs during any Y-axis camera shift while the border is dynamically resizing (including Spectator flight, player movement, or attribute scale changes).

Environment: Confirmed on version 26.3 (reproducible on both Nvidia discrete GPU and Intel integrated GPU).
