Minecraft Java Edition 26.3
When the Chinese input method (Microsoft Pinyin) is active, pressing WASD for player movement will not automatically switch the input method to English.
The WASD keys are captured by the IME directly, which keeps popping up many candidate boxes stacked on the screen. Sometimes the player cannot move properly.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch Minecraft Java 26.3 and enter a single-player world
2. Turn on Microsoft Pinyin (Chinese input mode)
3. Press W/A/S/D to move the character
Expected result:
When pressing WASD to move, the game bypasses the IME, no Chinese candidate box pops up, the character moves normally.
Actual result:
WASD triggers Chinese input, many candidate boxes stack on screen.
Environment
Windows 11, this bug occurs with multiple Chinese input methods, including Microsoft Pinyin and other third-party Chinese IMEs.
