Description -
When quitting Minecraft while in the native MacOS fullscreen (the green dot in the top left of the window) and reopening the instance, the game’s built-in fullscreen option is automatically enabled, even if it was off previously. Quitting Minecraft while not in MacOS’s fullscreen leaves the option as is.
Reproduction -
Open and instance of Minecraft 26.3 or 26.4 snapshot 1
Verify that the built-in fullscreen option is off
Enable MacOS’s native fullscreen
Quit Minecraft
Reopen the instance
Minecraft’s built-in fullscreen option is now enabled
Expected Result -
Minecraft’s built-in fullscreen option to remain the way I set it.
Actual Result -
Minecraft’s built-in fullscreen option automatically enables itself.
Environment
MacOS 27.0 Golden Gate
