Short description of the issue
When a Zombie is submerged in water for 30 seconds, it starts shaking as it prepares to convert into a Drowned. However, if the Zombie is removed from the water (or the water is removed around it) during this shaking animation, the conversion process is completely cancelled, and the Zombie returns to its normal state without converting into a Drowned.
Steps to reproduce the issue
Create or load a world in version 26.3.
Submerge a Zombie completely under water.
Wait 30 seconds until the Zombie begins to shake (indicating the conversion sequence has started).
Remove the Zombie from the water (or clear the water blocks) while it is still shaking.
Observe the Zombie's behavior.
Expected result
Once the 30-second submersion timer completes and the shaking animation begins, the Zombie should complete its conversion into a Drowned, or retain its conversion progress rather than resetting completely upon leaving the water.
Actual result
The Zombie immediately stops shaking and the conversion to a Drowned is completely cancelled.
Environment
Vanilla Minecraft Java Edition 26.3 (Unmodified client and singleplayer world)
