Relates to MC-312612.
When creating a double chest and placing a jukebox under it, the jukebox will not pull from the double chest as intended. However, when breaking the double chest and turning it into a single chest, it won’t play any discs put into it until the jukebox recieves another block update.
Reproduction Steps:
1. Place down a double chest and a jukebox underneath it
2. Place a disc in the double chest, it won’t play it as is expected
3. Break the second chest in the double chest, notice how the disc doesn’t get played
4. Try taking the disc out of the single chest and putting it back in, notice how the disc won’t play
5. Update the jukebox by placing a block next to it, the disc in the chest will now play
Expected Behavior:
Once the double chest becomes a single chest, the jukebox would automatically pull discs from it
Observed Behavior:
Breaking the double chest into a single chest causes the jukebox not to pull discs from it at all, even if the inventory of the chest is changed. It instead requires a block update to start pulling again.
