Amethyst Geodes generate much more rarely in ice caves compared to other biomes

The Bug

Amethyst Geodes rarely generate in ice caves, while amethyst geode generation is generally abundant outside of ice caves.

Cause

Ice caves generate primarily with packed ice. Packed ice is in the #minecraft:geode_invalid_blocks block tag, which causes geodes not to generate in. This significantly reduces the frequency of geodes, so they will only try to spawn on ore blobs or calcite.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a world in Minecraft 26.4 Snapshot 4 with the “Single Biome“ world type (biome: Ice Caves).

  2. Go to spectator mode (or press F3 + N).

  3. (Optional) Give yourself night vision to see clearly: /effect give @s minecraft:night_vision infinite

  4. Go down and observe the amount of geodes. Try to travel further in order to find one.

  5. Repeat steps 1-4 but this time with a different single biome (like Dripstone Caves).

Observed Result

Ice caves generate with very few or no geodes, while on another cave biome they generate much more often.

Expected Result

Ice caves generate geodes normally (i.e. similar to how geodes generate in another cave biome).
