Category: Crashes
Steps to reproduce:
Create a new singleplayer world with "Redstone Experiments" enabled in the world settings.
Build the exact structure shown in the attached screenshot/video:
Stone block at the bottom layer.
Glass block placed directly on top of the stone.
Redstone dust placed on the glass block.
Iron pressure plate placed on top of that glass (coexisting with the redstone dust).
One additional redstone dust (or lever) placed on the adjacent solid block as pictured.
Stand on the iron pressure plate so it stays activated.
While still standing on it, break the stone block underneath the glass (breaking the glass itself also triggers the crash).
Expected result:
The supporting block is removed, the pressure plate loses its attachment and drops as an item, and the redstone signal turns off. The world keeps running.
Actual result:
The game crashes immediately to the launcher. The latest crash report is attached (java.lang.IllegalStateException thrown during the redstone update pass).
Notes:
100% reproducible in a fresh world; no mods, resource packs, shaders, or datapacks other than the built-in Redstone Experiments toggle.
Does NOT crash when Redstone Experiments is disabled with the same structure.
