Semi-transparent text renders darker when the "Improved Transparency" option is enabled

The Bug:

Semi-transparent text renders darker when the "Improved Transparency" option is enabled.

Semi-transparent blocks, entities, items, and particles don't render darker when the "Improved Transparency" option is enabled. However, semi-transparent text, such as the name tags of sneaking players and text displays with a low text_opacity value, renders darker when the option is enabled, therefore introducing an inconsistency. This was not an issue in 26.4 Snapshot 2.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Make sure the "Improved Transparency" option is disabled in the "Video Settings" menu.

  2. Summon a semi-transparent text display in front of you by using the command provided below.

    /summon minecraft:text_display ^ ^1.5 ^3 {text:"Transparent text",text_opacity:127b,billboard:"center",background:0}
  3. Enable the "Improved Transparency" option in the "Video Settings" menu.

  4. Return to the game and observe if the text becomes darker.

Observed Behavior:

Semi-transparent text renders darker when the "Improved Transparency" option is enabled.

Expected Behavior:

Semi-transparent text would not render darker when the "Improved Transparency" option is enabled.
