Pumpkin blur overlay texture should be flipped

In version Pre-Release 1.4, a bug was fixed where (carved) pumpkin models appeared mirrored when worn by entities, but the texture that is seen when wearing a pumpkin in first-person (pumpkinblur.png) was never flipped to match the bug-fix.
Pumpkinblur.png was originally oriented correctly when pumpkins were added in Alpha 1.2.0 as it matched the mirrored pumpkins visible in third-person, but no update ever corrected this texture after the mirrored pumpkins were fixed, resulting in this 14 year old texture oversight.

This bug also seems to be present in Bedrock Edition.

Steps to replicate:

  1. Launch a version between Alpha 1.2.0 and release 1.3.2;

  2. Get and wear a Pumpkin;

  3. Notice the orientation of the pumpkinblur.png texture and the mirroring of the pumpkin model in third-person/inventory;

  4. Launch version Pre-Release 1.4;

  5. Replicate 2nd and 3rd steps;

  6. Notice that this version fixed the mirrored pumpkins, but the pumpkinblur.png overlay remains the same;

  7. Launch the newest version of Minecraft;

  8. Replicate 2nd and 3rd steps again;

  9. Notice how the pumpkinblur.png texture is still, somehow, not flipped to this day.

Hopefully the images of the issue I provided aren’t confusing so we can get this ancient texture fixed.
