my monitor is an ultra wide monitor (32:9 5120x1440) and I use quake pro as my FOV and when flying in creative or with speed one and when standing next to a block my screen will get the block overlay like I’m inside the block or suffocating and stuff even though I’m standing beside the block (picture 1 is me in first person and picture two is me just standing besides the block in 3rd person facing the same way I was in first person). This also happens when I am in 3rd person and I put my camera against a block (picture 3). When I’m standing by a block without speed and not flying this doesn’t happen but otherwise it does (see chart below)
The issue shows up when
Standing by a block with speed 1 (FOV 104-120)
Standing by a block with speed 2 (FOV 96-120)
Flying by a block with no speed (FOV 104-120)
Flying by a block with speed 1 (FOV 95-120)
Flying by a block with speed 2 (FOV 87-120)
3rd person with no speed (FOV 56-120)
3rd person with speed 1 (FOV 51-120)
3rd person with speed 2 (FOV 48-120)
Of course results may vary with your window dimensions, settings, and aspect ratio and if you’re sprinting but that’s just what I found
What should happen: the block not showing up on your screen
Environment
5120x1440 in full screen (not exclusive full screen so the task bar is still showing and stuff), windows os
