Is this with mipmapping or anisotropic filtering turned on? That's an important distinction to make in texture bugs like this one.
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 1.7.2 / Launcher version 1.2.8 ? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
This bug is only visible with mipmapping and anisotropic filtering on max settings. This happens on both nvidia (gtx285) and amd/ati (hd5650) graphic cards. Both with latest drivers.
This is what I have expected at most. But I'm not wondered about that Mojang is not able to fix these things.
Ezekiel, why are you removing all of these tags on old and resolved issues?
Yeah, sure they're ambiguous making them useless, but it's annoying that I (and probably many others) have gotten 9 spam emails in the past few hours (more from the Arisa bot) on this tiny little tag change when the reason I'm watching is mostly for comments/status changes (no simple way to do that or mass-unwatch all closed issues that I'm aware of).
Is it not possible to just delete all instances of the "bug" and "glitch" tags without notifying (or instead sending ONE email to) people?
Incorrect labels clutter the search results, and users tend to give up looking through them if there are too many results for a query. Then they create duplicate issues because they couldn't find the correct one. So we're cleaning up the tracker while activity is low. Unfortunately, the Jira software doesn't have very good tag management. You can't globally edit or remove labels; you have to change them on each issue individually. Most of us moderators have... significantly more than 9 watched issues, so we're getting a lot of spam too. If we can find a way to edit the labels without triggering an email notification, we'll probably use it.
Can confirm a brown stripe at the horizon in north and south, but not in east and west direction.
