[MC-3245] I CANT build more than 20 BLOCKS UP

I was building a building, when I had a problem.

I was going to build my 20th or 21st block layer,
but it wouldnt let me place the block.

build 19 or 20 blocks up, and see if you can place a block

In 1.4.5, I had no problem to build up to 255. Have you a new map or an old one? Create a new world and test it in 1.4.5.

Are you on a flatland world which is already 230 blocks high ?
Any mods?
Can you plese press F3, take a screenshot and attach it here ?

Does this still occur in 1.4.5? Was this on single player, or on a server?
