[MC-34181] wont let use full screen and keeps crashing without fully loading the game.

Won't let me use fullscreen on my laptop

What I expected to happen was...:
My minecraft would go into full screen
What actually happened was...:
Minecraft shutoff and it wouldn't load back into the main menu
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load minecraft
2. Create world
3. Press the ESC button
4. Click settings
5. Click video settings
6. Click fullscreen

Incomplete without crash report (minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt). Please attach it so that we can diagnose your issue.
If you cannot find your Minecraft folder or the crash report, please use the Mojang Support Center.

How long do these crash reports usually take to resolve and I get to play minecraft again? Also if I were to delete minecraft and everything but the worlds and saves would I be able to play?
